Spectacular Spaces: The Saint Louis Art Museum

For the next few weeks, we are going to explore some of the beautiful reception venues around the St. Louis area.

We begin with the Saint Louis Art Museum.

Sure, you have wandered the galleries looking at the spectacular art collection the museum houses; but have you ever considered holding your wedding reception in the historical venue?

The Saint Louis Art Museum actually does many different types of events, including receptions.

The Art Museum offers a few different packages to help cater to every couple’s reception needs and wants.

The Traditional Reception package includes cocktails and a seated dinner in the Sculpture Hall. Then, dancing in the Grigg Gallery.

The Contemporary Reception package offers cocktails in Taylor Hall (the new wing) and a seated dinner in the Sculpture Hall. Then, dancing in the Grigg Gallery.

The final package is called the Decorative Package.

All the packages include a number of different foods and an open bar. The price per person increases according to the package you choose.

The Art Museum requires you to use their in-house caterer, Bon Appetit, for all food and beverage. They do make an exception for the cake, which can be provided by the bakery of your choice.

Check out some of the photos below of events held at the Art Museum. A huge thank you goes out to Willow Lane Photography for the photos!
